I am sorry to say but this is app is very frustrating and difficult to use. I am pretty computer and app literate but this app is frankly awful. It is not user friendly and I get many errors. 6.25.15 after update 2nd bible pane opening immediately crashes program please help us

This looks very promising if it actually worked. It took 23 minutes to download and install a single bible then when I tried to go to a verse all I got was an endless spinning (do they call it a beach ball on iPads.). I have a number of collections Ive bought in word search and I think I would use this app all the time if it worked as advertised. On my iPad 3 useless.

This app can open my purchased books but still lacks a lot of functionality. Im hoping Lifeway keeps working on it. Update 7/15 I have been patiently waiting as I have hundreds of dollars invested in word search library, but the app continues to be minimally functioning and glitchy. Currently crashes upon opening second window. every. time.

Ive been using WORDsearch Bible software for years prior to this app. No where can a preacher or Bible teacher access so much reference material in one place. The concept is a 5 star but this is apps has the most glitches of all the apps I use and its my most important app. The creators of this app keep trying to offer more features to which is great, but with every update, it messes up the functionally of the app every time which is so frustrating when youre in the middle of your lesson plan or sermon preparation.

Crashes, slow, will not perform properly.

The iPad app still crashes when I try to switch books. Please figure it out

Not sure when WS upgraded, set to auto upgrades. But this version hardly works at all. The simplest feature, scrolling, barely functions, with much delay. Shuts down when trying load second screen. Back to the drawing board. Glad I have Logos, which works fine. Problem is I own 2000 books in WS!

There is an error that keeps popping up that will not allow me to access books of the Bible. Until that is fixed this app is next to useless

This has been a long and frustrating process, but I am hopeful that this new fix will prove to be the cure. WORDsearch is great on my PC, but like so many I use my iPad more than my PC.. That is why this problem has been discouraging. But a new day has come and so far both windows are working.... Love it!

App continues to crash during startup. When and if I make it to my recent book read, the screen pauses/hesitates when trying to scroll up or down.

Word search should stick with their computer Bible program. Their iPad Bible app. Is terrible. Please learn from Olivetree or pocket bible. Those are iPad Bible apps. This thing is terrible. I have so many books but its so frustrating to use I give up every time. Sorry for such a bad review but it is bad.

It could use improvement but its usable. It could use improvements like bible reading plans, etc. I know they have mywsb but there should be away to read across devices such as other bible programs. Its a work in progress and its understandable considering the time and resources it takes.

The prior version was just wonderful. Now it is broken. Dont need or desire the new video portion. Please fix soon. Update: While better, it still has jumpy screens. It only works now when Im connected to the Internet. Update 8/7/15: Switching to Olive Tree.

There is an error showing that is not allowing me to view the text at all.

Cant navigate between Devotionals. No matter what is selected it defaults to a specific Devotional. The workaround is to do a search for the one wanted and then choose it. Bad programming. Worked better 6 revisions ago.

I used it for Bible studies and being able to tap a link for a built in verse was a great feature. Was. Now the verse comes up but all the little written cross references come up also so that your verse reads like, "For God has not given us a spiritk Or us the spirit of fearfulness 1 Jn 1:17, Romans 1:19, John 14:47, but one of power mLk1:45, etc.". Please fix. Contacted Lifeway, no reponse.

This app continues to frustrate. Whenever I select a book to read, it automatically opens the first one on the list in the upper left corner. Totally useless. The new version continues the madness. I can no longer use this program as I once did. It seems their "big fixes" did not include any "bug fixes." Or maybe that was bad coding, too. And it is impossible to download anything to my iPad to store locally.

When I get to Revelation chapter 10 onward, I get this error. This page contains the following error. Error on line 168 at column 20: Entity. The rest of the bible is the same error.

Was a great app, then they decided to add videos to the books and the videos have been preparing ever since. Buffering never stops which now makes it worthless

I was excited to learn that you have an App that would allow students to read their books through an iPad or other tablet. However, the app is REALLY poorly done. There are all sorts of programing errors when trying to use my iPad to read the books. This is quite unfortunate but another example of putting out a poor product to just say that you have it. If you would just make your e-books compatible with other e-readers, namely the Kindle, then you wouldnt have to deal with all the problems of trying to write your own program. This program really is a waste of time and manpower...put it to bed...
